The following supplements the warranty statement that accompanies your Hisense product. 

Warranty periods and warranty services shown below are intended as a guide only and variations may occur. The warranty period commences upon the date of purchase by the original purchaser and continues for the following specified period of time after that date. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in material or workmanship under normal use. The liability of Hisense Canada is limited to the cost of repair and/or replacement of the product under warranty.

Exclusions

The warranty is invalidated in the following cases: 

  • Please note that this does not include consumables items such as batteries, and bulbs unless listed above under 'general information'.
  • Product physical damage caused by any source (impact, drop, misuse etc).
  • Product used in a commercial environment.
  • Food loss due to refrigeration or freezer failure. 
  • Product with serial number/tag that has been altered, removed, and/or not in original location. 
  • Product purchased outside of Canada, as-is product or refurbished. 
  • Product repaired by unauthorized service centre.
  • Name on original bill of sale not matching current owner.
  • Defect or damage caused by improper installation
  • Expenses related to transportation, loss of income for in-home service or making accessible for service.
  • Where any ancillary equipment not furnished or recommended by Hisense causes problems or damage that is attached to or used in connection with the product. 
  • Defect of consumables items such as batteries, and bulbs unless listed above under 'general information.
  • The warranty is invalidated if the defect is caused (howsoever) by misuse, neglect, and tampering or incorrect adjustment.
