Job Description

For our continuously growing business, we are currently looking for a Key Account Manager - Consumer Electronics to be based at our Mississauga office.

Key functions and responsibilities:

  • Focusing on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business.
  • Responsible for total account management function, including acquiring new business, expansion and retention of customers.
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.

Sales Achievement

  • Achieves sales and profit targets for the assigned accounts and planning goals for new strategic partners.
  • New Market Penetration/ Optimization
  • Develop and deliver product presentations, pricing proposals and navigate key decision makers.
  • Collaborate with teams to plan and execute new launches, promotions, events that drive sell-thru and analyze ROI.

External - Account Planning/ Account Management

  • Product planning with retail accounts based on needs assessment to drive mutually beneficial sales results.
  • Generate sales forecast to assist in business planning.
  • Recommend refinements to product and pricing strategies as necessary.
  • Monitor sell thru performance and adjust plan as necessary.
  • Set-up product specifics on retailers portals/platforms for in-store and online presence.
  • Coordinate sales training for retail staff with channel partners.
  • Working with logistics team, coordinate inbound product/delivery to ensure MDB dates.
  • Seek additional opportunities within each account and new channels where applicable.

Education & Experience:

  • College or university education: Business Administration or Marketing preferred.
  • 5-7 years of progressive sales experience managing a top-tier retail customer.
  • Consumer Electronics, Home Appliance, and/or Retail background preferred.

  • Self-Driven - demonstrate a focus on growth for both Hisense and our customers.
  • Communication - clear presentation skills with the ability to share relevant, timely information with internal stakeholders and external partners to influence positive outcomes.
  • Project Management and process improvement exposure.
  • PC skills (Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • SAP experience as an asset.
  • Bilingual is a bonus
