(January 8, 2018) – Hisense, a global technology leader, today unveiled their 2018 global brand vision at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, showcasing the company’s dynamic growth and ongoing brand investment globally. In the coming year, Hisense will continue its expansion by delivering incredible experiences across its wide TV and appliance product lines, further developing intuitive user interfaces and executing on major brand partnerships in advance of the 2018 FIFA World Cup™.

Hisense is coming off one of its most successful years in the company’s history, highlighted by extensive product expansion, industry-leading innovation and exponential sales growth, especially in North America where the company posted record-breaking sales. The company also launched its 100” Hisense 4K Ultra HD Smart Laser TV. 2018 will showcase Hisense’s newest line of TVs that embody the pinnacle of industrial and UI design as well as leading technological innovation. Hisense Smart TVs run the VIDAA user interface – which was originally designed in Canada.

Kicking off the 2018 World Cup in Crisp, Clear Picture

In 2018, Hisense will be joining the rest of the world to celebrate the 2018 FIFA World Cup™ as the official TV sponsor of one of the biggest sporting events in the world. Devotedly watched by passionate fans across the globe, the World Cup draws billions of viewers every four years. However, it doesn't stop there, as Hisense will also be actively integrating its display technology and product directly into the foundation of the tournament with the goal of giving people around the world access to the best soccer experience possible on TV.

The Hisense soccer experience will be centered around the exclusive World Cup application, a dynamic content hub for everything soccer that will be available in select regions across the world. In the US, this application will be the FOX Sports GO: 2018 FIFA World Cup™ Edition app, which will be available exclusively preloaded on new Hisense Smart TV products. The application will feature multiple FOX Sports digital feeds, including the ability to choose from a variety of live viewing angles during games, such as feeds that focus on specific teams or aerial views. The app will feature live games and near-real-time highlights from 37 customizable camera angles and original soccer content – all in stunning 4K. Hisense Smart TV users will also have access to a bevy of pre-produced content including “Road to the World Cup” features and PHENOMS, the exhilarating documentary series that chronicles the journey of the next generation of hopeful World Cup stars on their quests to represent their countries.

Impeccable Design Makes Incredible Experiences 

More than ever, consumers want beautiful products that offer intuitive and dynamic design that make finding the best content in the highest quality easier. Hisense has taken that philosophy to heart with the Hisense H9 Plus Series 4K ULEDTM Smart TV, featuring a bezel-less design with sleek lines, and a 360-degree experience that makes it one of the most beautiful TVs of 2018. H9 Plus will feature ULEDTM, ultra-wide color gamut and Dolby Vision HDR and HDR-10 technology as well as built-in, room-filling Harman/Kardon® audio.

Hisense’s dedication to exceptional design also extends to the user interface and the its Smart TV offerings. In 2018, Hisense will offer two options for consumers – Android TV and the Hisense Smart TV platform.  The Hisense Smart TV platform continues to evolve by making it easier than ever to access content through universal search, 4K Now, and one-touch-button access to the most popular apps. Users will also be able to conveniently customize the interface with just the click of a few buttons or the sound of their voice with Amazon Alexa integration. Announced just before CES, Alexa capabilities will be available on select models of Hisense 4K Smart TVs for the very first time. This new integration will allow users to control pretty much everything: basic TV functions, accessing built-in apps, connecting to music services and even ordering groceries. Alexa will also enable users to connect to other smart home products to control Alexa integrated devices like lights, air conditioners, allowing endd users to operate other IoT devices that work with Alexa, and more.  Android TV users will be able to use Google Voice Assistant. 

Innovation Continues to Evolve

From display to voice integration, Hisense will be introducing an abundance of new innovations to its product line in 2018. The Hisense H10E Series 4K ULEDTM Smart TV utilizes more than 1,000 backlight zones to deliver exceptional picture, along with top-line features including ULED technology, Dolby Vision HDR, HDR10 and Android Smart TV platform with Google Assistant.

The Hisense 4K Ultra HD Smart Laser TV, a product that represents the future of premium large-screen home entertainment, was introduced last fall to critical praise and rapid sales growth. The 2018 Laser TVs will continue on that momentum and will now offer full voice integration, allowing your voice to operate everything from basic TV functions to ordering groceries.

Top-Notch Sound Makes Perfect Viewing Experiences

Introduced to the US last year, Hisense’s sound bars feature a 5.1.4 channel and offer crisp sound with Dolby Atmos and DTS X technology. The sound bar technology includes built-in subwoofer design with easy-to-use LED display and convenient multi-connecting methods. At the CES booth, Hisense has established an experiential space for visitors to witness this powerful sound for themselves on the H9 Plus.

Mobile Growth Across the World

Hisense will also be unveiling its newest line of mobile technologies that are growing in popularity across the global market. Products on display at CES will include the dual-screen A2 PRO, the full-screen Infinity H11 and H11 PRO, the versatile F26 and F24 and the industrial ROCK LITE.

Classic TV 

Everybody loves something retro. Hisense will be debuting Classic TV, a panel TV that combines modern picture quality with classic design from the 1980’s at its CES booth. The TV features large double knobs and button switch that will remind visitors of their favorite TVs growing up. Highlighted with a glossy, red finish, Hisense Classic TV perfectly embodies traditional Chinese design ascetics.
