Field Representative – Sales & Marketing


Job Function & Key Responsibilities:

    • Be the Hisense Brand evangelist to drive sales, awareness, and enthusiasm of Hisense brand amongst RSAs (Retails Sales Associates) consistently.
    • Influence store staff to increase the recommendation rate and sell through of Hisense products by demonstrating points of differentiation and advantages.
    • Build strong relationships with the retail staff through frequent visits, product training, and other ongoing support to facilitate sales and customer service.
    • Work with account managers to obtain approvals and deploy POS material at the shopfront.
    • Capture and report key insights and action items to appropriate functions and teams.
    • Plan & conduct regular product training sessions & presentations to enhance the product knowledge of RSAs. Communicate consumer benefits of key features that they can share with in-store shoppers.
    • Support launch of new products by ensuring timely display of new products on retail floor. Gather feedback after launch on consumer acceptance and sell through performance.
    • Audit in-store merchandising and displays to ensure adherence to sales planogram and escalate any inconsistencies to the stakeholders for further action.
    • Monitor the condition of display models and ensure they are fully operational and damage-free. Escalate any problems to the appropriate functions to resolve the issue.
    • Support store staff during business hours and respond to inquiries.
    • Train any new store associates on Hisense brand, products, and features.
    • Analyze & evaluate competitive activities and report important events to management.
    • Develop creative ways to demonstrate Hisense product’s features and benefits to improve store staff engagement and retention.
    • Collect market, consumer, and competitive intelligence relating to new competitive product launches, pricing, promotions, and marketing efforts and inform all stakeholders.
    • Working closely with sales to prioritize field visits to high-performance stores to improve sell out. Review the channel distribution and product roadmaps regularly.

    • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and understanding of the Hisense value proposition.
    • Manage trade shows including product set-ups, tear-downs, collateral, signage, presentations, and other required tasks.
    • Support development of POS material and sales enablement documents.
    • Ensure retail price points are accurate as per the promotional road-map & calendar.
    • Dealer permitting, pull inventory from backrooms to fill retail displays.
    • Monitor inventory levels of stores and report any issues relating to insufficient levels of stock, availability, delays or any other issue that impacts sales.
    • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly reports to share field insights and highlights with all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of retail sales experience1-3 years of training experience.
  • Self-starter self motivated with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Access to vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Fluency in English with strong presentation / speaking skills.
  • Experienced in Microsoft office including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Home appliance and/or consumer electronics experience preferred.

Daily Responsabilities:

  • Target/conduct 5 store visits per day (Channel partners with both HA and CE units will count as 2 separate visits) with a goal to develop strong relationship and engagement with store staff.
  • Complete and submit field visit forms.

  • Inform store sales staff and management on the features, advantages, and benefits of the Hisense product lines.

  • Immediately report on any urgent issues that effects the business (low/no inventory levels, damaged displaces, poor customer experience, aggressive competitive pricing, etc.)

Weekly Responsibilities:

  • Report on weekly highlights and low-lights encountered while in field.

Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a minimum of 2 out of hour store training sessions (depending on season)
  • Report on Highlights and Lowlights of each channel partner

  • Plan out their scheduled route for the next up coming month

  • Take a product knowledge quiz to ensure they are communicating the correct information to the store sales representative

  • Report on activities of the competition to give Hisense a competitive advantage in the marketplace
