Hisense Set to Sponsor Its Fourth FIFA World Cup™ in 2026

HISENSE SET TO SPONSOR ITS FOURTH FIFA WORLD CUP™ IN 2026

Mississauga, ON. (September 5, 2025) - Hisense, a global leader in consumer electronics and home appliances, is thrilled to announce that it will continue its partnership with FIFA, serving as an Official Sponsor of the FIFA World Cup™. This new deal marks the fourth collaboration between the two since 2018.

A Growing Partnership

The relationship between Hisense and FIFA has evolved significantly over time. The partnership began with initial brand sponsorship at the 2018 World Cup and then expanded to include content cooperation via FIFA+ in 2022. Hisense's technology was then integrated into the VAR systems for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™, which now leads to the upcoming 2026 World Cup sponsorship. Each of these steps has strengthened Hisense’s global presence and its commitment to improving the fan experience.

The Future of Fan Experience

Catherine Fang, VP of Hisense Group, explained that every unforgettable moment starts with the right experience. Guided by four key drivers — technology, users, smart service and cultural values — Hisense continuously pushes the boundaries of display technology. The company has evolved from HDR to Laser TV and now to RGB Mini-LED, delivering a new standard of picture quality. This user-centered approach creates immersive, personalized experiences that make fans feel like they are part of every moment.

A Technological Breakthrough

FIFA Chief Business Officer Romy Gai confirmed that FIFA and Hisense plan to explore new frontiers in high-definition football content using RGB Mini-LED TV technology, which Hisense unveiled in January. Gai said that RGB Mini-LED will power the 2026 FIFA World Cup™, bringing every moment to life with remarkable precision and capturing the game’s essence like never before. With the 2026 tournament being the first to be held across three nations with 48 teams, Hisense aims to transform billions of living rooms into front-row seats, ensuring fans everywhere can experience the tournament like never before and truly own the moment.
