Graphic Designer

Position Overview

The Graphic Designer role is responsible to lead creative and content design initiatives across our brand portfolio. This role will support both digital and traditional media channels, ensuring that all creative assets for sales, marketing, e-commerce, web, social media, and internal communications are delivered with consistency, quality, and efficiency — from concept through to execution.This is a dynamic and multifaceted role that requires skills in brand integration, compliance, and cohesive visual storytelling. It also encompasses opportunities in retail store display design, packaging, and a range of related creative projects.

Key responsibilities:

Brand & Creative Management

  • Uphold and implement brand guidelines across all creative outputs for Hisense Canada and its associated brands.
  • Ensure consistency in design, tone, and visual identity across all digital and print platforms.
  • Translate marketing objectives into clear, creative strategies and visual executions.

Digital & Web Content Design

  • Collaborate with internal teams on front-end UI elements, accessibility standards, and creative alignment.
  • Design and maintain online content across retail partner platforms.
  • Create and optimize content for the Hisense Canada website, including product detail pages (PDPs), landing pages, banners, and campaign assets.

Marketing & Sales Support

  • Design marketing and sales collateral, including brochures, spec sheets, POS/POP displays, presentations, and trade materials.
  • Review & localize global assets & graphics for digital campaigns including social media, email marketing, and e-commerce.
  • Develop visually engaging product packaging from concept to production-ready artwork.

Retail & In-Store Visual Merchandising

  • Conceptualize and design in-store display materials and point-of-sale items from idea to execution working with production vendors.

Internal Collaboration & Creative Direction

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, E-commerce, and admin/HR to support their design needs.
  • Develop sales training materials for new product introductions and promotions.
  • Maintain and organize the internal image and asset library.

Quality Assurance & Process Management

  • Review and proof final design assets for accuracy, colour, and quality standards before production or launch.
  • Coordinate with print & other vendors to ensure all design work meets budget process, quality, and timeline expectations.

Qualifications & Assets:

  • 5+ years of graphic design experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and web standards is an asset.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across print, digital, packaging, and retail display design.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Photography and video editing capabilities are a plus.
  • Background in interior, architectural, or industrial design is an asset.
